Tad Khosa

Associate Director

With a passion for innovative communication & advocacy strategies, Tad’s main contribution to social good is to rewrite narratives and re-imagine the way the social justice sector addresses the divorce between political perceptions and social reality.

It is with this outlook that Tad is committed to shaping the larger conversation around systems change through research, hope-based storytelling, and creative activism. Through these transformative mediums, he hopes to address societal issues that are often only approached through structural rather than cultural engagement.

Tad has worked extensively with activist networks, human rights organisations, and public interest firms at a global level. He served as the Media and Communications Coordinator at the Equal Education Law Centre, a National Communications Officer at the Legal Resources Centre in South Africa, and a communications and campaigns consultant for the International Commission of Jurists (Africa Regional Programme). Tad has also consulted on global advocacy campaigns alongside the ACLU, Amnesty International, and the Open Society Initiative to coordinate digital campaigns for policy recommendations to the UN Human Rights Council.

Because he believes in the vital role public service plays in any healthy democracy, Tad actively supports the election campaigns of independent candidates running for local public office in South Africa.
